Connor is the Managing Director of The Digital Lookout, a marketing agency dedicated to supporting the construction industry through digital expertise, strategic communication and sector focused innovation. With a strong technical background, he has developed apps, built numerous websites and created bespoke system integrations and software solutions that help construction businesses work smarter.
Connor is the Chair of Kent’s Generation for Change, supporting professionals with less than ten years in the industry and championing the next wave of construction talent. He also sits on the steering committee for the Kent Construction EXPO, helping to shape the county’s largest industry event and ensuring it delivers value across the entire supply chain.
He is committed to strengthening collaboration, promoting digital adoption and driving positive change across the construction community in Kent and the South East.
Ellie heads up the Project Management division of Woodley Coles, having previously spent time as a
Chartered Project Manager at AtkinsRéalis, delivering projects across the public education and healthcare sectors for one of the world’s leading project and programme management consultancies. Ellie was named G4C South East Future Leader of the Year in 2022, having previously been shortlisted as a Finalist in the CIOB Rising Star Awards in 2021.
As a non-cognate, Ellie has a passion for promoting the diverse range of opportunities within the construction industry, on a mission to inspire the next generation of project professionals from different backgrounds. Ellie works with colleges, universities, and professional bodies to give career-focussed talks, mentor students considering a career in construction, and provide insight into her unconventional career journey.
Ellie is an advocate for the Early Careers community, sitting on the Early Careers Leadership Team for her business region, being the Chair of Constructing Excellence Kent Group, and the founding Chair of G4C Kent.
Dom is a Senior Project Surveyor with six years’ experience in the construction industry. He completed his MSc in Quantity Surveying in 2019 and achieved RICS Chartership in 2021, establishing a strong technical and professional foundation early in his career.
Alongside his professional role, Dom is a Mental Health First Aider and an active STEM and RICS Ambassador, using his experience to support, educate and inspire those entering the industry. He is passionate about improving access to construction careers, promoting positive mental wellbeing and helping early career professionals build both confidence and competence as they progress.
Dom plays an active role within the G4C Kent Committee, supporting the development of the next generation of construction professionals and contributing to initiatives that strengthen knowledge sharing, industry engagement and long term talent growth across the region.
Natasha is the Marketing and Business Development Manager at Modus, where she has spent nearly six years leading the company’s marketing activity, brand presence and relationship management. Her role spans digital channels, events, networking and strategic communications, supporting Modus’s continued growth and visibility within the construction sector.
With a background in law and recruitment, Natasha entered construction from outside the industry and quickly recognised the breadth of opportunity it offers. She is passionate about championing the sector to those who may not see it as an obvious career path, and places strong value on the role that networking and collaboration play in supporting early career professionals.
Natasha is a strong advocate for developing future talent and is proud to be part of a business known for its successful apprenticeship programme, supporting school leavers through their degrees and onward to RICS Chartership.
Zara is a Proposal Coordinator at Morgan Sindall, where she has spent the last four years supporting the business across bids, marketing and business development activity. With a further five years’ experience working within a contractor led business development team, she brings a strong understanding of how effective communication, collaboration and presentation support successful project delivery.
In her role, Zara is responsible for producing bid documentation, managing CRM systems, coordinating marketing materials and supporting events, working closely with operational teams to ensure consistency, quality and clarity across all submissions.
Zara is a strong advocate for early career development within construction and is passionate about promoting the sector as an accessible and rewarding career choice. Working within a business known for its decentralised approach and commitment to early career programmes, she actively supports initiatives that attract, develop and retain new talent, helping to strengthen the future of the industry through meaningful engagement and opportunity.
Rob is a Chartered Architectural Technologist at Hazle McCormack Young LLP.
He began his career in architecture at the age of 17 as an apprentice, gaining hands-on experience across a range of project types and RIBA work stages. He qualified as an Architectural Technologist in 2020 and achieved Chartered status with CIAT in 2024. Rob has contributed to the successful design and delivery of schemes in the residential, commercial and education sectors.
Rob’s specialism lies in Building Information Modelling (BIM), where he leads on Revit delivery, defines project information requirements, and acts as BIM Coordinator. His technical knowledge and collaborative approach support efficient project delivery.
Outside of work, Rob is a qualified football coach and manages a junior football team. He promotes a team ethos centred on participation and enjoyment, using football to teach leadership, communication and teamwork.
Sasha works at Apex Contractors as Social Value Lead and has been with the company, and in the industry, for four years. Like many others, Sasha entered the construction sector later in life after gaining experience in several other fields.
She is now a strong advocate for ushering young people into the arena and as part of her day-to-day role, she regularly visits schools and educates young people about the construction sector and its opportunities. She is excited to be joining the G4C Committee as a natural next step in her journey to support and inspire the next generation in construction.
Apex has run a successful Management Trainee Programme for several years, offering degree apprenticeships for local young people. They also offer a Future Leaders Group where those eligible can join, learn and work together on internal projects, including raising money for charity.
Matthew is a Chartered Town Planner at DHA, having joined the industry on a placement year in 2018. Matthew completed a Masters in Town and Country Planning in 2023 and has been a Senior Planner since January 2024, followed by RTPI chartership in 2025.
Matthew works on a variety of residential and commercial schemes across Kent, Sussex and South London and specialises in policy related matters including local plan promotion, housing supply issues and advises on the delivery of sensitive development within the Green Belt and National Landscapes.
With nearly 40 years of knowledge and sector experience, DHA are the south-east’s largest independent planning and highways consultancy and have a wide range of expertise in residential, commercial, retails, health, leisure and specialist sectors across a wide-ranging client base.
DHA are committed to supporting the growth of young and early career professionals and pride themselves in a bespoke 12-month professional competency training programme equipping young professionals with practical experience across DHA’s multi-discipline services and the wider development industry.
